Red-Carpet Ready: Golden Globes Edition

Although in typical Brooke-doesn't-like-the-fakeness-of-the-celebrity-world fashion, I skipped out on watching the Golden Globes… guilty as charged! I did, however, prowl around the interwebz for pictures of the beautiful gowns that were worn.

Rather than take the passive approach, which would be to simply admire the looks you love in pictures, I encourage you to recreate those looks in a more wearable-in-the-real-world way!

Here are three of my favorite gorgeous gowns from the red carpet and how ~you~ can rock the look, too:

1. If you loved Lupita Nyong'o's stunning purple masterpiece of a gown…

...then try this dress by John Lewis that is a similar grape color and take it a step further with champagne-colored eye shadow and a freshwater-pearl necklace!

2. If you were a total fan of Jennifer Anniston's sassy slit-leg dress…

… then try this double-slit maxi skirt by ASOS for a double dose of sass! If a crop-top isn't your thing, tuck in a normal-length tank beneath the skirt's waistband for #flawless style.

3. If you coveted Jenna Dewan Tatum's sweet banana-hued dress…

…then try this cozy, banana-esque sweater by Romwe! Pair with gray leggings & little white Superga sneakers for a girl-next-door look.

Which red-carpet gowns were your top-3 favorites?
xoxo, Brooke
